Cardiac Catheterization is a unique invasive imaging procedure. The process takes to make sure whether a patient is suffering from any coronary artery diseases or not. It also evaluates the functioning of heart muscles.
During Cardiac Catheterization, our nurses inject sedation followed by an anesthetic. With the help of a long sheath tube, doctors insert a whole catheter using X-Ray Imaging. When the tube reaches the coronary arteries of the heart, a contrast material insertion takes place.
It makes sure that the material gets to the heart muscles to diagnose the problem arising in the heart (i.e., blockages or narrowing of valves).
